How do I upgrade from Level 2 to Level 3?

All candidates wishing to upgrade their IRATA Level 2 to the IRATA Level 3 qualification must have the following:

• A minimum of 12 months time between their Level 2 and Level 3.
• A minimum of 1000 hours logged in their IRATA issued Logbook.
• A minimum of 4 days of Level 3 training shall be completed.
• 1 day assessment by an independent IRATA Assessor.

From May the 1st 2014, no alternative logbooks will be accepted on the day of your assessment. It must be an IRATA issued logbook.

An IRATA Level 3 certificate will be issued with an expiry date 3 years from the date of successful Level 3 Assessment.
