This nationally recognised qualification provides knowledge and skills for operating a mobile elevated work platform (MEWP). The course modules and credits include:

Level 3

  • US23966 Describe types of elevating work platforms (EWPs), and legislative requirements for their use – 2 credits
  • US23960 Assess the worksite, prepare and operate a scissor lift elevating work platform (EWP) – 3 credits
  • US23961 Assess the worksite, prepare and operate a truck mounted elevating work platform (EWP) – 4 credits
  • US23963 Assess the worksite, prepare and operate a trailer mounted elevating work platform (EWP) – 4 credits
  • US23964 Assess the worksite, prepare and operate a vertical lift elevating work platform (EWP) – 2 credits

Level 4

  • US23962 Assess the worksite, prepare and operate a self-propelled boom lift elevating work platform (EWP) – 5 credits

Mobile Elevated Working Platform (MEWP)

5th Point offer the NZQA Mobile Elevated Working Platform (MEWP) course in conjunction with BeSafe New Zealand. This is a one day course, offered to businesses and individuals. Fully qualified trainers, with relevant industry experience deliver the course materials, ensuring that a wealth of experience underpins the training we offer.

The course cost is $450.50 with full payment required for confirmation of course booking. Payments can be made online, by cheque, cash, direct deposit, or credit card over the phone.
