We are the premier IRATA International training company in New Zealand, training all IRATA technicians in the region for the past 7 years.

Originally founded in 2002 in Sydney, Australia, 5th Point began running IRATA Training Courses in New Zealand in 2009. With over 15 years experience as an IRATA Member Company, we began running courses in Christchurch, Auckland, Queenstown and Wellington.

5th Point established the first dedicated, purpose built industrial rope access training facility in the country. We have a dedicated team of locals in place in Wellington, committed to providing the best training, customer service, product information, system design and solutions.

We primarily train the only internationally recognised industrial rope access qualification (IRATA) and hold full membership with IRATA in both training and operations.

All training provided is delivered by expert instructors in a practical training environment utilising real world instructor experience and examples.

Within our core training team, we have qualified IRATA Assessors, Instructors and Assistant Instructors, many of whom sit on IRATA International committees, including the Health & Safety Committee, Training Committee and the Executive Committee. We are heavily involved with the Regional Advisory Committee of IRATA Australia, and continue our involvement with Work Safe NZ and IRAANZ to ensure that the rope access industry in New Zealand continues to move towards being a safe and accessible. All of our Instructors have global training experience, delivering the IRATA course syllabus in multiple countries.
