Description
5th Point is accredited by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) to deliver GWO Basic Safety Training Initial (BSTI). The course is delivered by our experienced and qualified instructors, bringing a depth of knowledge and expertise to our candidates. Our purposely designed facilities will ensure a safe and controlled environment to undertake the course.
The course consists of 4 days of training.

Learning Objectives
This course is designed for technicians and specialists working in the wind industry. 5th Point’s GWO Basic Safety Training Initial (BSTI) course will assist candidates to develop, practice and maintain safe work practices and everyday tasks whilst working in the wind industry.
Our GWO courses are suited to new and experienced wind industry personnel.
Prerequisites
BST Modules may potentially be physically demanding. A medical declaration is required prior to undertaking the course, to ensure students are physically capable to perform the physical tasks, in particular the practical activities associated with working at heights.

Certificate Revallidation
GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) qualification is valid for two years.
